Work has actually been going well the past couple of days. I no longer want to blow my brains out. Instead I'm thinking of filing a formal complaint with the management. It's bad enough when a person merely makes my job more difficult. But when said person directly jeopardizes the health of one of my patients... that's a whole new level.

I almost flipped my shit and quit on Monday. Almost.

Since Monday, however, the situation has notably improved. The aforementioned incident that almost forced me to resign on the spot was witnessed by several people and conversations were had. Still, it's only a temporary fix. I'm optimistic that the situation will be more permanently resolved in the near future.

Anyway, wasn't that delightfully uninformative? I'm going to sleep now to undoubtedly dream about blood pressures and fluid rates all night.

We had a pretty great party last night. Thank you to everyone who came. And since it's Christmas I'll refrain from verbally abusing the losers who didn't show. :)

But anyway, we all had a blast and now I have to pack and drag my hung-over ass to work before I can drive home for the holiday. It's gonna be a long night I think.

Apparently, my new name is "Switzerland". Or, so says my co-worker (the self-proclaimed "Nazi Germany"). In addition, Geoff is back in CCU for his winter break so I am also referred to as "Stone Cold". It's confusing for some people but it seems I'll respond to anything. Someone called out "David" at one point and I turned around to answer. Go figure.

Personally... I'm not a great judge of character. I really have to get to know a person before I can form any real opinion about him or her. Sometimes this is misinterpreted as diplomacy and thus I get dubbed a neutral country. Really, though, it's not so much diplomacy as indecisiveness.

Whatever.

I got my new Mass license in the mail today. I'm officially a Mass-hole. Meh.

Well, tonight was the night where I did stupid things for all to see. I frequently do stupid things that have no notable ramifications so people don't notice or care. Tonight, however, people noticed and cared. It sucked.

Anyway, nobody died.... at least not because of anything I did.

I was supposed to go to a Christmas party tonight after work at my co-worker's house... but I was so tired and bummed out that I bailed and came home to watch Stargate. I'm such a loser.

By the way, to anyone who's interested... my roommates and I are throwing a party on the 23rd. Come one and all. :)

OH my god... just... OH MY GOD. My job sucks.

No wait... I like my job. My employer sucks. SUCKS!!!!

Tonight should have been a nice easy night. I had THREE PATIENTS. Three. All non-critical.

Tonight sucked. Why? Because it's Monday and my supervisor SUCKS!!! GAH!!!
