Not I, Said the Duck
And the Oscar goes to... Nebuchadnezzar!

So, in the spirit of things, I was playing this movie trivia game online and was presented with this multiple choice question:

"Who played himself in the movie 'The Greatest'?"

A) Jesus
B) Moses
C) John the Baptist
D) Muhammed Ali

Are they kidding?

No more Kelly Clarkson, please.

Well, the party was a success. There was a ton of food and a lot of people showed up and surprisingly there was very little mess to clean up afterward. And despite the impressive volume of alcohol I consumed, I woke up this morning without even a trace of a hangover thanks to all the water I drank throughout the night. So it was good. Actually, I think Clytie, Eylem and I had the most fun of anyone there. We had such a blast.

Anyway. Now I'm exhausted, and this head cold I'm battling isn't getting any better, so I'm going to take a nap. But I'll be up in Farmington on March 12th to celebrate Mom's birthday. Others had better be there too.

"When a woman gives birth to a crack-baby you don't buy her a puppy."

I'm sorry I just had to repeat that so I wouldn't forget. Whoever writes dialogue for The Gilmore Girls has a twisted mind.

Joe Flanigan is hot.

Well, he is. 'Nuff said.

So I saw Hitch the other night. It was surprisingly entertaining. I'd expected it to be funny in a painfully awkward kind of way, but actually I think Eliz would quite enjoy this movie with only minimal squirming. Part of the reason this movie was so enjoyable, though, was that it was a completely spontaneous event. I saw it with Melissa's boyfriend, Jonanthan, after the three of us had dinner together and then Melissa drove home to New York. Sounds more scandalous than it was, of course (Sorry to disappoint you, Andrew) but we had a great time. So, anyway, I recommend the movie.

Now I'm talking to Kali online. She's depressing.

I had yesterday and today off from work. Yesterday I watched movies with my roommates for five straight hours... then we watched the "Animal Cops Houston" marathon on Animal Planet for another three. Then we had pizza delivered. So, today, I really need to do something productive. And now that it's one o'clock in the afternoon... it's time to get going on that. So I'm off to the grocery store, I think. We're throwing a party on Saturday night and there are things to buy. :) Ciao.

BTW, this is also a delightful film (part of yesterday's movie watching). Highly recommended, if you're into late nineteenth century lesbian love affairs.... and, honestly, even if you aren't.

Fooey.

So, yeah, I kinda suck. I should have, at the very least, updated this page after the Superbowl. I mean, come on.

But anyway, instead of blogging I've been working a lot, playing a little and attempting to keep a nasty flu virus at bay. So far I've been successful, but it's an uphill battle.

Not much else to report here. I just made guacamole from three of the biggest avocados ever conceived on this earth... then proceeded to consume half of it. So that was cool.

I really have nothing to say, I just thought I'd confirm for people that I'm still alive and functioning. More later.
