I don't.... quite know what to do with myself...

So, I think I'm going to bed... when I wake up in the morning and the Red Sox are still World Series Champions... *then* I can celebrate. And, appropriately, I'll be going back down to Boston to continue my apartment hunt...

Hopefully Boston will still be there tomorrow afternoon.

So, I gotta go to Boston again today... I have to leave in less than an hour in fact, and yet, I am still in bed. I suck.

Congrats to the Bengals on their impressive return to Monday Night Football after a 15 year absence. Earned me 13 extra fantasy points so I actually won a game for a change.

So now the question is... why can't I just find the perfect apartment and be done with it? Why do my two favorite apartments have to be 30-40 minutes away from my job? Does this seem fair? I swear I'm not whining, just... confounded. My only real options at this point are to keep looking and possibly delay my start date at work, or stop being so picky and just pick something.

Whatever. Hopefully today's trip will bear fruit... or at the very least, ice cream.

Ooookay! So, it's been kind of a... different... day. I got a job... and the Red Sox won the AL pennant... at Yankee Stadium...

Maybe Bill Belichick's Reality Distortion Field affects more than just football. I'm sure he was watching the game. I mean, who wasn't? (If it was you, I suggest you keep that to yourself).

Anyway, this day, in many ways, marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. If I were the superstitious type, I might choose to read something significant in the fact that the day I landed the job I was most hoping for and committed to moving to Boston, the Boston Red Sox won the most historic game ever played in my lifetime. However, I think it would be best to just leave the Sox their victory, and me mine, and just be happy about both.

Tomorrow (or later today if I'm totally accurate)... the apartment hunting continues.
