That's how long I have to get everything done. EVERYTHING. I think I'm going to die.

Had a lovely birthday yesterday. Boston was great and I think we all had a great time. I was particularly impressed by my mad dash across Boston to catch the 3:10 train out of Porter. It would not have been bad except for the monstrous escalator at Porter that I had to *run* up to get to the train platform. Don't get me wrong, I have always been fascinated by this escalator, it's practically a work of art, but it's incredibly daunting when one is in a hurry.

Anyway, now I'm off to class... and doom. Cheerio.

My dear friend Kate turned 22 today! Congrats!

That's really all I have to say. I know I haven't been blogging much recently but my life is insane.

Dad's party was a romping success, if I do say so myself. I'm so glad we did that for him, even if it did almost kill Mom. The best surprise of the day, however, was probably those rockin' spiced pecans. Who'd a thunk it?

I'd be remiss in my duties as a TV junkie if I didn't put a plug in for my current obsession, which is Will & Grace. Granted, it's a sitcom, and I generally find sitcoms depressing, but this one is a little different. A little. When it began is was unique, and groundbreaking (sorta) and if you listen carefully they get away with a lot of dirty jokes that a lot of people probably don't catch but that I find extremely amusing (and a little disturbing at times).

I also may be at a stage in my life where I'm questioning my self-worth and my ability to make anything of my life and I'm more receptive to shows about miserable, shallow people because they make me feel better about my own situation.

But really that's a load of crap. I just needed something to fill the void left by the completion of the latest Stargate season (new episodes starting in July!) and latched onto Will & Grace because they have cool guest stars and the episodes are readily download-able.

Anyway. The truth is, I have hardly had any time lately to watch TV or movies or anything because I have about two weeks before classes end and about 50 pages to write in that time on various topics. So I'm going to go do that now.

Oh yeah, and a hearty "welcome back" to Otis Smith. :)

Okay this was officially one of the worst weeks of my life. I just suck at everything. I'm finally done with my papers that were due this week... now that it's officially SATURDAY. It's a good thing I have friendly professors.

Vacation is finally here, not that I'll actually get much of a break. I have truck loads of work to do this week. It's gonna be fun. I'll be on campus for the next few days working and being on duty and will be home on Wednesday until the following Tuesday. It will be nice. :)

As for right now... I'm off to take my first shower in four days. Isn't that special?
