I'll be home on Friday and I'm very excited because I actually have a birthday present for my mother for the first time in, like, four years.

Melissa is coming with me, we'll be there hopefully around seven. Just a quick visit but a much needed reprieve. Can't wait.

I wrote a 10 page research paper this weekend. My brain has melted. I'm going to bed.

Isn't he cute??? I spent much of Monday and this morning observing similar guys at the Franklin Park Zoo in Brookline. I can't get over how fascinating they are. You know they do *everything* upside down??? The moment I laid eyes on them I was enthralled. I'm writing my term paper for animal behavior on bats (I don't just go to the zoo every now and then on a whim).

Anyway. Life is good. Work sucks. Graduation is looking better and better by the day. :) May 23rd! Can't wait.
