Odwalla?
Okay! So last night I enjoyed my first solid food in three days and only felt mildly ill afterward... this is progress. I think my stomach and I have finally reached an accord.
On the other hand, this bout with the stomach flu may have left me brain damaged as I have spent the past 3 and a half hours watching the Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon. I guess even I can be wooed by fish monsters. If I could step on a porcupine, I would.
So I've been keeping an eye on the Free State Project as it continues its march toward New Hampshire. These people need to settle down.
Quote of the Day:
"Membership of the Free State Project rocketed after an article in Playboy this year." Kali sucks at the movie game.
So says me.
That was kind of the ongoing theme for the weekend. Kali would insist that we play this silly game and then she'd proceed to suck at it.
But it was an excellent weekend in pretty much every respect. We can now add 3 new cousins to the already obscene tally. Dad inadvertently convinced a humorless bartender that I'm a lush. I met a dog with a disturbing foot fetish. Nearly scalded the palms of my hands trying to light some luminaries while debating the identity of the first President of the United States... oh yes, and watched the Yankees lose the World Series. heh, heh. Definitely a weekend for the history books.
It was very sad to say goodbye to everyone and now I'm back in dank, wet New England, desperately looking forward to Thanksgiving. I think some Stargate is DEFINITELY in order. I HATE Logan Airport.
Today's the day. Kali and I are off to the airport within the hour to fly to Atlanta! Woohoo! Hope everyone stays warm this weekend... I know we will! Mua hahahaha! :)
Adios! Right statements are better than wrong statements...
...or so says my physiology professor. I dunno, though.
Have you ever seen a chocolate fondue fountain? I have. It is a thing of wonder... although it kind of reminds one of diarrhea... but let's not go there. This afternoon I gave a bunch of big wigs tours of my building, avoided eye contact with our school mascot, watched several ResLife professional staffers dress up as the Village People and dance to the YMCA and ate waaaaay too much melted chocolate from the fondue fountain. Kind of a different type day for me. Liberation!
My first post is dedicated to Eliz and Andrew who liberated me from realm of despair that is Pitas. Bless you both.
...although being stuck with the image of Andrew in a thong was possibly too high a price... |
